Question

Ct sounds EXO 15

I've got a CT Sounds EXO 15". It's like it was never made. Google it and all you get are the 12". Can anyone here help me out with the T/S sheet for the 15. Thanks

I've found something: http://vi.vipr.ebaydesc.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItemDescV4&item=121727410593&t=1435083052000&tid=10&category=18805&seller=thedingerdistribution2013&excSoj=1&excTrk=1&lsite=0&ittenable=false&domain=ebay.ie&descgauge=1&cspheader=1&oneClk=2&secureDesc=0 . But here are no dimensions + displacement + Sd - if as you wrote, you have the woofer, then you can measure / calculate them easily. The other parameters like Vd, SPL, etc... SBL can count them out. The only parameter is really missing is the Xmax... So, in my opinion, if these parameters in link are enough for you, then OK, if not, try to send an email to CT Sounds...

Btw, these parameters are enough for SBL to design a proper box if you measure your woofer's dimensions and count out the Sd and displacement, but for proper optimalisation you will need the Xmax - to let SBL count out the Vd, and for ability to optimise the power handling - this is the reason why it will be a better idea to send an email to CT Sounds and ask for the datasheet...

Ct sounds has zero customer service. I've owned this sub for almost 2 years. I've called and sent countless emails with no response. Thanks very much for the info. I used the parameters from a sundown x15 to build the box its in now. Hits hard but its missing something. I feel like it could go lower. I'm gonna compare the 2 parameters and see where I'm at.

Or you can try out this to measure the TS parameters (I dont know that you know this software / method or not - this is the reason why I wrote this to you): http://tksoundworks.com/z-navody/meranietspen.html . It will be better if you break in the woofers first.

Here is the download link: http://www.artalabs.hr/download.htm , you can use demo mode - it is fully functional, just saving data, etc... is not working, but you can do screenshots, or copy data to any text editor...

The other solution is the Dayton Audio DATS, but it is not cheap. The program above can be used as free, the measuring equipment you can build for free if you have the parts at home + it can be as accurate as like the Dayton Audio DATS, just it needs ideal enviroment, high quality other equipment like soundcard, signal cables..., and the measuring equipment needs to be made of high quality and accurate value parts...

BTW, I never tried out none of these because I did not need it this far, just few people in the area around me tried out this ARTA / LIMP, and it they told me it is working good...
